How to pair your Amazfit GTS on Notify App

In this tutorial, we will show you how to install and pair your Amazfit GTS with the Notify App.
This tutorial will teach you how to:
  • Install the Notify App from PlayStore
  • Pair your Amazfit GTS on Notify App
  • Configure official app
  • Troubleshoot Amazfit GTS issues including: pairing, notifications, sync


  • There is no old band paired on your phone bluetooth devices list (remove if present)
  • There is no other un-official app connected with Amazfit GTS
  • Official app is installed and paired correctly or not installed
  • You are connecting to the band using only one phone/tablet
  • You have a GENUINE Xiaomi / Amazfit watch. Check if you can see MI/Amazfit logo on the rear. Ensure your Amazfit GTS is working and phone can connect with it Youtube tutorial -
  • There is no power saving Android / app running that may block / close Notify app while running in background. See
  • Try long press the watch button to do a hard reset, if Amazfit GTS stuck at the boot screen

How to pair Amazfit GTS without official app

New watches Mi Band 6, Mi Band 5, Mi Band 4, Amazfit Bip Lite, Amazfit GTR, Amazfit GTS, Amazfit GTR 2, Amazfit GTS 2, Zepp, ... requires an Auth key code to work correctly without official app.
  1. Suggested: Hard reset your Amazfit GTS. Open the watch Settings menu and choose Factory reset option
  2. Obtain the Auth key of your Amazfit GTS (if required) - Tutorial: How to get my Amazfit GTS Auth key?
  3. Do a phone reboot and keep enabled phone GPS
  4. Uninstall official app without unpairing the Amazfit GTS
  5. Open Notify App (better if you uninstall and reinstall Notify app to reset all settings) and follow the initial pairing tutorial
  6. Associate your Amazfit GTS
  7. On second wizard screen, choose Official app not installed option
  8. Input the Auth key code
  9. Finish the pairing procedure

How to pair Amazfit GTS with also official app installed

New firmwares are limiting un-official app support. Many features will not work on Notify app unless you remove official app and run the app standalone. Check out New firmware limitations, what has changed

  1. Check official app is installed and correctly working with your Amazfit GTS
    Suggested: reset and repair Amazfit GTS first on official app if you are getting connection issues
  2. Ensure official app is running correctly on background, otherwise also Notify app will not be able stay connected with Amazfit GTS
  3. Enable status bar notification indication (Watch connected / disconnected) on official app general settings

  4. Open Notify App (better if you uninstall and reinstall Notify app to reset all settings) and follow the initial pairing tutorial
  5. Associate your Amazfit GTS
  6. On second wizard screen, choose Official is installed option
  7. Finish the pairing procedure
  8. Enabled notification access for both apps: Notify and official app

Additional configuration

  • To get best results, uninstall official app and keep only one app connected with Amazfit GTS
  • Go on Phone settings > Applications and show all apps (including systems apps)
    Open "Bluetooth" app settings.
    Click Clear cache and Clear
  • Open phone Bluetooth settings and remove any (including Amazfit GTS) existing paired device.
    Reinstall Notify and/or official app.
  • Do a band factory reset from the Amazfit GTS Settings menu

  • Check you are not running any saving battery app or similar. Keep enabled "prevent app get killed" mode on notify app general settings
  • Try pair the band on phone Bluetooth settings devices list
